Liam Anthony has called on all North Melbourne supporters to get behind the players as they enter the final week of training in Utah.

Pushed to the brink again on Sunday during a series of gut-running drills, Anthony delivered a timely plea for encouragement from those back home and abroad.

"The boys are flying at the moment which is good, so for all those supporters back there - we're doing well over here, but we're doing it tough too so get behind us and I'm sure you'll push us along," he told kangaroos.com.au after finishing one of his six 300-metre runs.

"Very tough morning so far. (We've) had about a three-k (kilometre) warm-up into a two-k time-trial and then six three-hundreds."

On a personal level, Anthony says he is good shape.

"I'm probably nearly as fit as I was this time last year at Christmas and we're five-weeks before Christmas, so pretty happy but still got a long way to go because it's an area I've got to improve on so I've started earlier this year and hopefully I'll reap the benefits going into two-twelve (2012).
