Your child could present a North Melbourne player with their guernsey this Saturday. More details below.

It’s a summer tradition; setting up the blanket and packing a picnic lunch for a day at the park.

Now, North Melbourne and its players are welcoming you to the very first Picnic in the Park.

With Aegis Park out of action for the oval redevelopment, Royal Park will play host to the Family Day event on February 23, and with a range of entertainment, supporters of all ages will enjoy a day to remember.

Welcome the new draftees and secure the very first autographs from potential stars of the league, and cheer on your favourites as they are presented with their 2013 playing guernseys.

Former Kangaroo Leigh Colbert will conduct interviews with players and coaches on stage, while amusement rides and a special stage show by Peppa the Pig is sure to keep the little ones smiling.

Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

With just over a month before the opening round blockbuster against the Magpies, it could be one of the final chances to meet all the Kangaroos’ stars ahead of the season.
