Smile for the cameras

Wear it with pride NMFC.com.au caught up with new recruits Ben Jacobs and Jordan Gysberts as they donned the royal blue and white for the first time.

Team photo day at Aegis Park and the North players pulled on their new jumpers for the first time in 2013.  For the recruits though, it was the first time ever.

New hairstyles were on display and the hair product was used in abundance, but some players didn’t seem to receive the message; Scott McMahon and Leigh Adams sported beards Chuck Norris would have been proud of, while Lachlan Hansen could be forgiven for his excess facial hair after becoming a father on Monday to baby Ryder.

Each of the club’s draftees took up a spot in the front row including Taylor Hine and Mason Wood who both modelled shaved heads thanks to a unfavourable Kangalotto result.

International rookie Eric Wallace took his place in the back row alongside Majak Daw, while Ben Jacobs was delighted to don the royal blue and white.

“It’s different colours looking down now, very contrasting colours, but it’s the colours that I want to be in,” Jacobs told NMFC.com.au.

Following the group shot, it was all about the individuals with the likes of Andrew Swallow and Kieran Harper taking centre stage for portraits.
