North Melbourne has broken its membership record this week, passing 35,000 members for just the second time in the club’s history.

The current tally stands at 35,246 members, 51 more than the previous record set at the end of 2013, with 100 days still remaining in this season’s campaign.

Managing Director and CEO Carl Dilena said it was fantastic to have so many members ‘Rise Together’.

“Our loyal and passionate supporters are integral to this club and it’s a real credit to them that we’ve reached this exciting benchmark so early in the season,” Dilena said.

“We’re ahead in every membership category across the board already, numbers for our Huddle community memberships which bring disadvantaged children and their families to the football have doubled and we continue to grow our supporter base in Hobart with 3,693 members renewed in the state.”

Despite the strong growth, North is still aiming to break another record.

“Our goal is to reach 40,000 members this season which we believe is an achievable number,” Dilena added.

“Last year’s record was great and to surpass it by round six is really pleasing but there is still over 4,000 memberships to be sold until we reach our target, which we know can be attained.”

North has seven home games remaining in Melbourne and two in Hobart this season so there is a variety of packages to suit everyone.
