In many ways, the Crows have had quite a similar season to the Kangaroos.

With two rounds to go Adelaide sits in eighth spot, clinging to a finals berth by percentage only. Throughout 2014 Brenton Sanderson's team has been capable of breathtaking highs and frustrating lows.

Since Round 7, the Crows won back-to-back matches only once, but at the same time hasn’t lost successive games.

Their season was perhaps summed up best in Round 21’s loss to Richmond – when the game seemed lost, the Crows played their best football.

They roared back from a 25-point deficit but were sunk by two late Tigers’ goals.

So with a trip to Tasmania facing the Crows, their situation is easy to understand.

There are likely to be returns for the Crows, none bigger than perhaps their most influential midfielder.

Sam Kerridge is also in the frame for a return. Having kicked 10 goals in two games between the sides, he is somewhat of a bogey man for the Kangaroos.

In 2013, he kicked six goals – all in the second half – while in Round 13 this year he had four kicks for the match, all ending in majors.

Elsewhere in the forward line, North will likely have to deal with the trio of Josh Jenkins, Taylor Walker and James Podsiadly.

The trio kicked two goals each against the Kangaroos in Round 13, and were complemented by Eddie Betts and his three majors.
