Season in review

For the third consecutive season, Shaun Atley was able to play every game for North Melbourne. Averaging a career-high for disposals, the number 18 continued to provide his trademark drive out of the defensive half of the ground.

At times during 2014, Atley spent slightly more time further up the ground, playing as an outside midfielder. This was reflected with the change in the type of his disposals.

Atley won 70 per cent of his disposals in the middle of the ground, an increase from 66 in 2013. Even with the slightly added time in the middle, he retained his consistency.

Only once did Atley finish a game with single figure disposals, the only time it had happened since late in 2011.

With the variety of choice across half back for North, Atley will likely continue to impress as he passes the 100 game milestone during the 2015 season.
