Over the course of the season, North Melbourne’s Twitter handle - @northkangaroos – asked fans which plays they would like to see made into gifs.

Now with the year having come to a close, the best 32 gifs will battle against each other to take out the inaugural gif of the year title.

We’re down to the final two, as Kayne Turner, the number one seed, faces Todd Goldstein.

Both plays in the Grand Final come from North Melbourne’s semi-final victory, and happened no more than a minute apart.

While the two players couldn’t be more different in stature, their individual pieces of brilliances were crucial to North progressing into a preliminary final.

More than 23,000 votes have been cast on the way to the final, with the final two progressing to the last dance.
