The North Melbourne Football Club would like to advise the following changes to its playing list.

Liam Anthony, Tom Curran, Cameron Delaney, Taylor Hine, Robin Nahas and Mitch Wilkins have all been delisted.

Tim McGenniss and Max Warren have not been retained on the rookie list.

Levi Greenwood departed the club during the trade period.

Joel Tippett and Kayne Turner will be promoted from the rookie list, with Shaun Higgins (restricted free agent) and Jarrad Waite (unrestricted free agent) also added to the club’s primary list.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anthony, 27, was recruited with pick 43 in the 2008 AFL National Draft and played 58 senior games, kicking 27 goals. The midfielder averaged 21 disposals over six seasons at the club.

Curran, 21, arrived at Arden Street with pick 40 in the 2011 National Draft.  Son of two-time Hawthorn premiership player Peter, the forward was hampered by a recurring foot injury during three years at the club.

Delaney, 22, was selected with Pick 69 in the 2010 National Draft. The versatile defender played five senior games in 2012, but an ongoing toe injury restricted him to only 10 games (one AFL) in 2013, and one VFL match in 2014.

Hine, 22, joined North with Pick 61 in the 2012 National Draft from the Gold Coast Suns, where he previously spent two seasons. The midfielder/defender played 14 games for North in 2013, but did not play a senior game this year.

Nahas, 26, joined North as a delisted free agent at the end of 2013 after five seasons at Richmond. The small-forward played eight games this season, kicking seven goals before a shoulder injury curtailed his progress.

Wilkins, 20, was selected with pick 47 in the 2012 National Draft.  In his two seasons Wilkins was a strong contributor for North Ballarat across half-back and on the wing.

McGenniss, 20, was selected with pick 10 in the 2012 Rookie Draft. The young midfielder showed significant improvement in his two seasons playing for VFL affiliate Werribee, establishing himself as a run-with player.

Warren, 21, was drafted by the Roos with pick 10 in the 2011 Rookie Draft from the Eastern Ranges. The small defender made his debut for North in Round 15 against the Brisbane Lions this year, his only senior game.

Director of Football Geoff Walsh wished the departing players well.

“It’s always a tough time of year when players leave the club, but we thank each of them for their efforts and great contribution over the journey at
Arden Street,” he said.

“We wish them all the best for their future endeavours.”

The Roos will enter the National Draft with Picks 16, 25 and 36.
