North Melbourne fans will have further incentive to see their team in action in round two, with confirmation of a kick-to-kick session following the match.

Supporters of the Kangaroos and Lions can gain on-ground access for a kick with family and friends following the game on Sunday, April 12.

The kick-to-kick initiative forms part of the broader ‘Sunday Funday’ theme running across the season, including free kids entry to all Sunday Premiership Season matches at Etihad Stadium, a range of special food and beverage products and offers and other entertainment activities at various matches.

AFL General Manager Clubs and AFL Operations, Travis Auld, said enhancing the match day experience for fans has been a priority for the AFL since the conclusion of last season.

“The AFL has been working on a range of initiatives with clubs and venues to make AFL matches more accessible, more affordable and more fun for supporters in 2015,” Auld said.

“The fans have told us that the tradition of having a kick on the ground after a match remains very popular and as such we have placed a high priority on working with both Etihad Stadium and the MCG to see this activity return in 2015."

The Roos' round nine clash against the Magpies will also see fans welcomed onto the ground following the final siren.
