Robin Nahas has been rewarded for his stellar pre-season form, promoted to North Melbourne’s senior list ahead of round one.

The small forward has booted eight goals in two VFL practice matches over the past fortnight, earning praise for his pressure and presence in attack.

It’s been a great show of persistence for Nahas, who dislocated his AC joint last season and was delisted at the end of 2014.

In a show faith from the club, the former Tiger was later re-rookied.

“It’s a good start, but the hard work starts now,” Nahas told NMFC.com.au on Thursday after being informed of the good news.

“I’m available for selection now so I’ve got to keep playing well and hopefully I get an opportunity soon.

“I’ve been in the system long enough to know that you can’t get too comfortable no matter what happens, so I’ve just got to continually work hard and wait for that opportunity.”

Nahas’ promotion comes on the back of Daniel Nielson’s (knee) move to the long-term injury list.

Open training this Saturday from 11.15am-12pm EDST at Arden Street. More information
