It’s been 40 years since North’s players stormed the stage as VFL champions, after defeating the highly-fancied Hawthorn in the 1975 Grand Final.

In Round 5, the Roos will be celebrating the anniversary of that fine day with a number of match-day activities.

Guests at North’s most prestigious match-day event, the Champions Club Executive Function, will be treated to interviews with members of the 1975 premiership team.

Chairman James Brayshaw will also address the room, as premium beverages and a two-course meal are served.

Patrons will then be able to watch the current day stars clash on the field from the best seats in the house on level two.

Before the game, there will be a motorcade featuring all the stars of the victory, as well as a guard of honour for the players.

North will be taking fans back to the 70’s, with classic music and theming around the ground, as well as prizes for fans who come to the game in fashion from the era or retro-Roos’ gear.
