Lachlan Hansen will play his second consecutive match for Werribee on Saturday as he continues his road back to full fitness.

The key-defender made his comeback last week, playing three quarters in the wet against the Roosters and emerged unscathed. However, it wasn’t enough for a recall to the North Melbourne side.

Alongside Hansen in the Tigers’ backline will be Scott McMahon and Ed Vickers-Willis. The trio were important in Werribee’s come-from-behind victory last week against North Ballarat and will likely be in for a busy afternoon against a quality Port Melbourne outfit.

After being rested last week, Will Fordham has been named to make his return.

Meanwhile at North Ballarat, up to seven Kangaroos could turn out for the Roosters on Saturday afternoon.

After an impressive AFL debut, Trent Dumont returns to strengthen the midfield against the table-topping Williamstown side.

Last week featured Sam Durdin playing as a key-defender for the first time since being drafted, and he’s tipped into defence again.

Durdin will play alongside Joel Tippett, with the two also joining forces for the first game this season. Brad McKenzie and Max Warren will also play in the back half of the ground, making it close to an all-Roos affair.

At the other end of the ground, Aaron Black and Braydon Preuss will be in the key attacking posts.
