As captain of the North Melbourne Football Club, I am very proud to be an Ambassador for The Huddle.

The Huddle’s work exemplifies one of the core values of our club; the importance of belonging - whether you are a Huddle volunteer or donor, an NMFC player or staff member, or one of the hundreds of young people helped by The Huddle every year.

2014 was a fantastic year for The Huddle. From study through to sport, we saw increased numbers and program ideas. There were bikes, balls, leadership and careers days not to mention business breakfasts, NMFC player engagement, volunteer growth and another well-deserved award from the State Government.

We celebrate multiculturalism in The Huddle, and it is a great privilege for me to be involved - I learn so much from the young people who take part in our programs as we look to continued social cohesion right across our community.
