Shaun Higgins and Jack Ziebell were elected by Brad Scott and John Barker as the most influential players on the ground when North defeated Carlton by 64-points on Saturday night.

Both received 9 votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award.

Higgins collected a game-high 31 possessions, laid five tackles and booted two goals in a dominant display while Ziebell racked up 26 disposals, took eight marks and also slotted through two majors.

A regular vote collector in recent times, Todd Goldstein added another three to his overall tally while Shaun Atley and Nick Dal Santo collected two apiece.

Goldstein currently sits in third place on the overall leaderboard, trailing Fremantle's Nat Fyfe and Sydney's Dan Hannebery.

The Swans' midfielder was given a perfect 10 for his game against the Crows in which he notched up 40 touches and three goals.
