He’s better known for his ferocious tackling and creativity around the goals, but Taylor Garner took to the skies on Saturday afternoon.

Late in the third term, Sam Wright put a ball kick inside 50 that looked like it would be comfortably dealt with by the Bulldogs’ defence ... enter Garner.

Hitting full stride as he approached the marking contest, Garner leapt high over Lukas Webb and Dale Morris, using the former as a step-ladder to pull down a spectacular grab.

The youngster’s effort has seen him nominated for the AFL’s Weet-Bix Mark of the Year.
