Majak Daw’s promotion to the North Melbourne team has opened the door for Eric Wallace’s return to the Werribee side.

Wallace will be entrusted the job of sharing the ruck duties with fellow Kangaroos’ big man Daniel Currie, as the Tigers face off in a do-or-die Elimination Final against Collingwood.

North Port Oval will be the venue for Saturday’s match, with Wallace set to line up for his eighth senior VFL game of the season, and Currie his third game back from a foot injury.

The Roos’ pair will come up against Collingwood-listed players Jarrod Witts and Mason Cox, the latter, like Wallace, American-born.

After being named as an emergency for North on Friday night, Scott McMahon is set to lead the Werribee back six.

The veteran Kangaroo has been a rock in defence all season, and he’ll be vital to the Tigers’ chances.

Likewise Will Fordham, who missed last week due to general soreness but has been a mainstay in Werribee’s midfield throughout 2015.

Kieran Harper has hit form at the right time of the year and will likely spend time through the midfield and up forward.

The Tigers will be without Daw, Mason Wood and Kayne Turner, with the trio set to take the field at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
