North forward Lindsay Thomas has accepted a fine from the Match Review Panel.

Thomas, who came on as sub in the third quarter of Sunday’s elimination final win over the Tigers, was reported for misconduct against Richmond’s Dylan Grimes.

The number 12 was handed a $1500 fine, reduced to $1000 with an early plea.

“Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as first offence for misconduct. A misconduct offence draws a fixed financial sanction of $1500,” the MRP said in its findings on Monday afternoon.
