After almost 24 hours and 12,000km of travel, North Melbourne's players have arrived in Utah.

The players touched down in Los Angeles in the early hours of Tuesday morning (Melbourne time), before heading to Salt Lake City and on to Park City, where the squad will be based during its stay.

While the weather was kind on the Roos arrival, with a brisk top of 12 degrees forecast, heavy snow is expected later in the week.

During the club’s stay in Utah, players will take part in skills sessions, hikes and specific high altitude training to help prepare them for the pre-season and season ahead.

Among the traveling squad is new recruit Jed Anderson, who met his teammates for the first time at Melbourne Airport in the early hours of Monday morning.

Anderson will be joined by North’s draftees, who will fly to America almost immediately after being named in the NAB National Draft.

All first to fifth year players take part in the camp, as well as a handful of senior players, with Shaun Atley, Shaun Higgins, Jamie Macmillan and Jack Ziebell also on the trip.

Throughout the club’s stay in America, NMFC.com.au will provide you with plenty of exclusive video and online content, as well as plenty of behind-the-scenes action on North’s social media channels, make sure you’re following the #NorthInUtah hashtag.
