Even at 37, Brent Harvey is still one of the most tagged players in the competition.

Of course, the opposition coach’s best intentions can often be in vain, with the champion on-baller backing up year after year.

In fact, in 2015 he tallied his second-highest disposal tally ever (570), illustrating he’s not going to drop off anytime soon – even after 20 seasons.

That fact hasn’t been lost on his AFL counterparts, with the oldest player in the competition still considered among the best.

Harvey was ranked at number 43 in the AFL Players’ Top 50, released on Tuesday.

It comes off the back of a season in which he tallied almost 23 disposals and a goal, playing part in all 25 of the Roos’ matches.

With the rankings from 50-31 revealed, all eyes will on the remaining picks, posted in the coming days on the AFL website.
