Kayne Turner has only played the Lions twice in his career, but will make his return against Brisbane this Saturday, named in North’s 22 for Round 2.

The small-forward replaces Jed Anderson, who will spend about eight weeks on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring in the Kangaroos Round 1 win.

Turner injured his own hamstring in North’s first NAB Challenge match in Wangaratta, but has now fully recovered and according to Brad Scott, was unlucky to miss last week.

The like-for-like replacement is the only change to the side which overran the Crows at Etihad last week.

North has named Ben Jacobs, Aaron Mullett and Lachie Hansen as emergencies again for the match at the Gabba.

Meanwhile, Brisbane has named former Roo Ryan Bastinac, with the 24-year-old set to face his former side for the first time.

Bastinac played 121 games in the royal blue and white, before making the move north to the Lions in last year’s trade period.
