North Melbourne was dealt its first loss of the season, going down the Swans in a low-scoring AFL Fantasy game.

The Roos have been one of the highest scoring fantasy teams all year, but were restricted to an average of 64 points per player on Friday night.

Andrew Swallow was the only player to enter triple figures, finishing with an even 100 points.

Let’s have a look how this Footy Prophet’s Fantasy Five did by comparison.

1. Todd Goldstein ($548,000, RUC)

Despite the loss, Goldstein continues to prove his worth with another strong effort at the SCG.

The ruckman scored 99 points, which was the second highest for the Roos and continues to be a consistently strong scorer.

He’s probably caused the fewest headaches for Fantasy coaches out of any player in the competition given how reliable he's been.

2. Jack Ziebell ($490,000, MID)

Ziebell had a solid game, finishing one point behind his ruckman on 98.

Kick to handball ratios are very important when it comes to AFL Fantasy, and inside midfielders usually are pretty poor at this because they handball from stoppages a lot.

However, Ziebell had 20 kicks on the weekend out of his 22 disposals, boosting his score. It was a strong fantasy performance by the North midfielder.

3. Daniel Wells ($397,000, MID/FWD)

Daniel Wells returned from injury and had a strong game, finishing with one less point than Ziebell.

Many were unsure whether to keep Wells after his injury concerns, but those that held him would be pretty happy with his 97.

At nearly $400,000 at the half way point of 2016, he’s met every expectation coaches would have had for him at the start of the season.

4. Trent Dumont ($265,000, MID)

Dumont came into this round with a very low breakeven and poised to make a lot of cash.

His score of 67 was good enough to see his price jump, but he’s probably too awkwardly placed between rookie and the category above to really consider for your side.

It’s probably a case of 'watch this space' with Dumont.

5. Jarrad Waite ($443,000, FWD)

Waite had a quieter fantasy game on the weekend, finishing with 71 points, well below his season average.

Key forwards are always risky for fantasy because when the team isn’t going as well, their scoring tends to drop off.

After two successive scores in the 70s Waite will hopefully bounce back next week against Richmond.
