North Melbourne are up against one of the more difficult road-trips in footy this week when taking on the West Coast Eagles, but no doubt it will be an opportunity for many Kangaroos' players to rise to the occasion – and provide us with some great fantasy scores too.

Final teams are yet to be confirmed for the match, but former Hawk Jed Anderson is in with a chance of playing his second game for North after debuting in Round 1, only to suffer a long-term hamstring injury.

While Anderson hasn’t necessarily dominated in his fantasy performances in the past, he has shown some aptitude and will be of significant interest to fantasy coaches if he is named.

Also potentially coming into the side are Ryan Clarke and Majak Daw. Clarke has been pushing towards a debut game lately with several big efforts in the VFL and looks like one who could be a fantasy prodigy when he gets his chance.

Of course, it’s also entirely possible that North will go in unchanged for this match – but Anderson and Clarke, if they do come in, are well worth watching.

Todd Goldstein is in a good position this week with one of his closest rivals for the title of best ruck in the game, Nic Naitanui, on the sidelines through injury, meaning he should have the chance to potentially dominate the match against the less-experienced Scott Lycett.

It’s also a big week for Sam Gibson who will play his 100th AFL match. He’s been a solid fantasy proposition this season and that should continue this week.

Also keep an eye on the skipper Andrew Swallow who is playing his 200th. He had scores of 99 and 110 against the Eagles last year and seems to enjoy playing against the team whose heartland he hails from.
