It’s all or nothing on Saturday night for North, and the Roos will make the trip to Adelaide Oval with confidence after their performances in recent finals’ campaigns.

While Ben Jacobs, Sam Wright and Mason Wood haven’t been ruled out, Jarrad Waite and Scott Thompson look more likely to return.

NMFC.com.au looks at the potential changes for this Saturday

Forwards

One of the two Roos under the most focus is Waite, with the key-forward attempting to make a return after missing the last month of the home and away season.

If the 33-year-old does make his way back into the 22, one of the existing three talls may have to make way, or the option of changing the forward structure could be an option.

At ground level, Corey Wagner and Robbie Nahas were in good form to finish the VFL season, potentially putting their hands up for a finals berth.

Defenders

Although he missed the Round 23 clash against Greater Western Sydney, Scott Thompson is another in the mix to return.

Considering Adelaide’s strong forward line – Taylor Walker, Josh Jenkins and Eddie Betts are just three potential matchups for him – Thompson’s availability would be a boost to North’s backline.

Brad McKenzie had 26 disposals and seven marks in his last VFL match, and could be another option to play off half-back.

Midfielders

Ryan Clarke was best on ground in Werribee’s last match of the season, collecting 32 disposals playing through the midfield.

The first-year Roo has played six games in his debut season, and earning a finals berth would be a well-deserved reward for his 2016.
