Aaron Black will seek more opportunities at Geelong next year after North agreed to trade the 25-year-old for pick No.92.

The forward has found a new home with the Cats after five seasons at Arden Street.

“We’ve had very open and honest conversations with Aaron over the past few years and have nothing but respect for him and understand his decision to ask for a trade,” GM Football Cameron Joyce said.

“We wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts and professionalism during his time at North.”

Black managed 50 games in the royal blue and white stripes including a career high 25 in 2014.
