North Melbourne will go into the 2017 season as the second-youngest team in the AFL.

It’s a true illustration of the Roos’ list transformation over the off-season.

In all, ten new players have walked in the door at Arden Street, the oldest of which is Marley Williams at 23.

As at the start of December, North had 11 players on its list under-20, 18 under-21, and 31 under-25.

By Round 1, the average age of the list will be 23 years, 218 days. In 2016, that figure was 25 years and 55 days, with North the second-oldest team in the league.

Only Brisbane will go into next season with a younger list, while at the opposite end of the spectrum, the Eagles are the ‘oldest’ with an average age of 24 years, 330 days.
