Box Hill v Werribee
Sunday, July 23 – 2pm
Box Hill City Oval

Werribee will welcome a raft of experience for Sunday’s vital clash against Box Hill at City Oval.

The Tigers have gained Todd Goldstein and Lindsay Thomas - both omitted from the North side - for the match against the ladder-leaders.

Along with Lachlan Hansen in defence, Werribee boasts almost 540 games of AFL experience from the trio alone.

Goldstein will come up against Hawthorn-listed player Marc Pittonet and Ty Vickery, with Braydon Preuss still missing due to a back injury.

Thomas has been named in the forward pocket, with a potential match-up on former North rookie Max Warren.

Ben McKay will lead the attack in a key post as he aims to push his case for an AFL debut.

Werribee sits seventh on the ladder following a big loss to Richmond last week. The Hawks have lost just two games for the season.
