Kayne Turner has been picked to come straight back into the North squad, despite missing the last seven games with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old’s impact earlier this year was profound with his tackling and pressure in the Roos forward line sorely missed.

The 33-gamer could slot into attack to play the Hawks in Launceston on Sunday when the teams are finalised on Friday.

Jy Simpkin is in after missing last week with an ankle injury, while Cam Zurharr and Jed Anderson are also on the 25-man list.

Ben Brown has been passed fit after getting through training on Thursday, named at full-forward.

Fellow forward Nick Larkey has been omitted.
