Williamstown v Werribee
Burbank Oval
Sunday August 13, 2pm

With just three games remaining in the VFL season, Werribee needs a win this week to maintain its push for September action.

The Tigers are currently eighth on the table, but with a clash looming against the ninth-placed Northern Blues next week, and a low percentage (86.75%), victory against Williamstown is vital.

Werribee regains Nick Larkey for Sunday’s match at Burbank Oval, with the North youngster enjoying a taste at AFL level over the past month.

He’ll line up alongside Lindsay Thomas in attack, with the remainder of the forward mix still to be decided as North submits its final 22 on Friday afternoon.

Ben McKay looks likely to play in the back half again after pulling down 11 marks last week, while Lachlan Hansen has also been named in defence.

Nathan Hrovat, Cam Zurhaar, Jy Simpkin, Josh Williams, Aaron Mullett, Kayne Turner and Jed Anderson have been named on North’s extended bench, with several likely to be available for Werribee on Sunday.
