Werribee must win Saturday’s clash against the Northern Blues if it’s to keep its finals hopes alive.
The Tigers slipped out of the eight with a loss last weekend against Williamstown, falling behind Collingwood which boasts a far superior percentage.
Just two games remain in the home and away season and Werribee must win both and rely on other results to secure its spot in September.
North youngster Ben McKay has been named in the ruck, with Todd Goldstein and Braydon Preuss in the AFL team and Majak Daw sidelined with injury.
Lindsay Thomas will lead the charge in attack, while Lachlan Hansen has also floated forward in recent weeks.
Through the middle, Jed Anderson, Will Fordham and Josh Williams will all play key roles.
Rookie Oscar Junker is set to make his return from a broken tibia in the Development League.
