2010 Round 17 vs Essendon, Etihad Stadium - 27 disposals (98%), 17 contested, 15 tackles, 8 clearances, 2 goals, 1 Brownlow vote

It says a lot about a midfielder’s dominance when they’ve managed five shots on goal, but to also amass 15 tackles, 8 clearances and 7 inside 50’s, paints an even better picture.

In a three-point loss, Swallow got votes.

2011 Round 11 vs Adelaide, Etihad Stadium - 39 disposals, 27 contested, 17 clearances, 5 tackles, 2 goals, 3 Brownlow votes

2011 Round 22 vs Fremantle, Etihad Stadium - 30 disposals, 16 contested, 7 tackles, 7 clearances, 3 Brownlow votes

In a smashing of the Dockers, Swallow continued his brilliant 2011 campaign with another three-vote haul.

2012 Round 15 vs West Coast, Bellerive Oval - 25 disposals, 14 tackles, 7 clearances, 1 goal, 1 Brownlow vote

The typical Andrew Swallow performance.

2012 Round 18 vs Melbourne, Etihad Stadium - 32 disposals, 17 contested, 17 tackles, 1 goal, 3 Brownlow votes

As North finished strongly in 2012, Swallow was at his brilliant best.

Swallow was a clear stand-out for the top votes.

2013 Round 1 vs Collingwood, Etihad Stadium - 34 disposals, 9 tackles, 7 clearances, 3 Brownlow votes

Polling the maximum votes in a loss isn’t easy, but Swallow managed it on this occasion.

He was at his best through the middle as the leading disposal winner on the ground, and racked up 13 contested touches.

2013 Round 5 vs Hawthorn, MCG - 35 disposals, 14 contested, 9 clearances, 7 inside 50s, 3 Brownlow votes
