With just over a week until the first bounce, time is fast running out for AFL Fantasy players to finalise their teams.

With the JLT Series concluding, North Media has run the rule over the North players that can add value to your team, and most importantly provide plenty of points.

Shaun Higgins - Average JLT Score: 89 - $665,000 - Ownership: 0.54%

North’s most reliable ball-getter across the JLT Series, Higgins accumulated 45 possessions and amassed a total of 178 AFL Fantasy points.

The 2017 Syd Barker Medal winner averaged a career-high 23.5 disposals in a midfield role, and played 21 of 22 games, highlighting his durability,

Look to Higgins to play almost exclusively through the midfield in 2018, and to continue to rack up plenty of possessions, while providing his obvious goal-threat.

Jack Ziebell - Average JLT Score: 84 -$662,000 - Ownership: 0.29%

The skipper was North’s second-highest scoring player across the two JLT games, notching up a total of 168 AFL Fantasy points.

Ziebell led the way for the Roos in difficult conditions in Hobart, with his game-high 10 tackles contributing heavily to his score.

He found more of the ball in the second game, but his tackle count dropped, resulting in a similar output.

If Ziebell can consistently combine these two elements, he could prove a very astute pick, as he is currently in less than 0.3% of teams.

Ben Cunnington - Average JLT Score: 75 - $620,000 - Ownership: 0.2%

It is usually your midfield that you can rely on for your points in AFL Fantasy, and the JLT Series was no exception for North, with Cunnington rounding out the top three, scoring 150 points across both games.

Cunnington wasn’t alone in struggling in the windy conditions in Hobart for JLT 1, but he rebounded well in JLT 2 against the Tigers, finishing second only to Higgins in disposals.

North’s number 10 has played at least 20 games in each of the last six seasons, and can be relied on again in 2018.

Marley Williams - Average JLT Score: 73.5 - $410,000 - Ownership: 0.8%

In his two JLT Series games, Williams outperformed his price tag considerably, tallying 147 AFL Fantasy Points.

Coming off an injury-interrupted season in 2017, he has slotted seamlessly back into the Roos’ backline, and looks enormous value for your AFL Fantasy team.

Even if you don’t plan to keep him in your team for the whole season, expect Williams to earn significant and valuable cash throughout the season.

Todd Goldstein - Average JLT Score: 56 - $610,000 - Ownership: 3.47%

While his total of 112 AFL Fantasy points in two games doesn’t seem impressive on the surface, Goldstein’s 65 points from only 42% game time should be noted.

Although his recent seasons haven’t been up to his high standards, Goldstein has been given a vote of confidence from coach Brad Scott, who says that the 2015 All-Australian is approaching his best form again.

If Goldstein can manage to get back to the extremely high levels North fans know he can reach, he could prove a steal in your AFL Fantasy team.
