Hawthorn forwards Cyril Rioli and Paul Puopolo will miss Sunday's clash against North Melbourne due to injury.

Rioli copped a knock to the knee in the Hawks' clash with Melbourne, and spent much of the game on the bench.

“Cyril has a moderate grade medial injury," Hawthorn's Director of High Performance Andrew Russell told the club's website.

“It is on the same side as his PCL last year… but it’s not related at all.

“It looks like it’s probably in the five to six week range at this stage."

Puopolo is expected to miss four to six weeks with a hamstring injury.
