Port Adelaide will be forced to make at least one change to its team for the clash against North Melbourne, after Lindsay Thomas was suspended for four weeks.

Star recruit Tom Rockliff played in the SANFL on Wednesday, but is considered a chance to back up three days later, while Jasper Pittard and Jack Trengove were among Port’s best in the state league.

Rockliff missed last week’s clash against Geelong due to a calf injury.

Aidyn Johnson and Dom Barry were held over from the SANFL game, and are likely to come into the mix for selection.

Forward Todd Marshall was a key-part of Port’s AFL lineup throughout the first four weeks, but concussion saw him miss the Cats’ match. He’s now been ruled out for Saturday too.

The 19-year-old has taken indefinite leave from the game following the passing of his father on Monday.

Midfielder Sam Powell-Pepper will also miss another week of AFL action, following a league-imposed ban.

Ruckman Paddy Ryder continues to recover from his achilles injury and is another who’ll be sidelined.
