The North Melbourne Tasmania Kangaroos' picks at the 2018 NAB AFL Women's Draft have been confirmed.
The club will have the final selection in each of the first five rounds, with further picks to be added as lists are lodged.
According to an AFL media release, "AFLW lists were profiled when establishing the agreed four-tier payment model. The combined loss of players for each club then provided an indication of the total impact of the expansion signing period and foundation clubs are to be compensated relative to the total value of players they have lost.
"The AFL has also assessed the list profile of North Melbourne’s and the Geelong Cats’ expansion signings. This showed North Melbourne has signed 17 players and the Geelong Cats have signed 13 players. As a result, the Geelong Cats will be awarded four compensation selections."
The Draft order was decided with the aim to "maintain competitive balance throughout the expansion process".
