The curious and innocent minds of children make for interesting questions, just ask the North Melbourne players.

While most players are used to getting grilled by sports journalists, the students at St. Michaels put them under the microscope in more ways than one.

Together they discovered Marley "Bob" Williams is a talented magician, Trent "Froggy" Dumont's favourite colour is green and if Jed Anderson wasn’t a footy player, he'd be a fisherman.

These young Kangaroos weren't the only ones caught on the hop, with the entire playing group visiting various schools across Victoria on Tuesday.

Some participated in skills sessions while others had classroom Q&As on topics including leadership, resilience, healthy lifestyles and goal setting.

“Going to these schools surrounding Arden St is great for us as a team and for the students,” Shaun Atley told North Media.

“It takes such a small amount of our time, but has such a large impact.”

Among the schools visited were Corpus Christi Primary School, Holy Rosary, The Grange, Tarneit P-9, Mossfield, and Flemington Primary. In all, more than 900 kids interacted with 42 North players.
