The Western Bulldogs have been hit hard with injury to some key players ahead of their clash against North Melbourne on Saturday night.

Captain Easton Wood could miss the next two to three months with a high-grade hamstring injury while gun midfielder Jack Macrae is expected to sit-out a month, with a low-grade hamstring.

Lukas Webb won’t be available after fracturing his thumb and Tom Boyd will be questionable following surgery to repair a dislocated finger.

The Bulldogs hope Marcus Bontempelli will get the green light to play with the medical team clearing him of structural damage after hyperextending his knee while Toby McLean will also be monitored closely after hurting his shoulder.
