Several North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ stars will be in action this weekend for Melbourne University Women’s Football Club (MUWFC) at VFLW level.
AFLW-listed players Emma Kearney, Kaitlyn Ashmore, Emma Humphries, Katherine Gillespie-Jones and Ash Riddell will be key figures as the MUGARS take on Collingwood at Avalon Airport Oval.
Sophie Abbatangelo and hard-defender Danielle Hardiman have been rested for this weekend’s match, which will part of a double-header with North’s VFL side playing straight after the final siren.
The match will be live streamed via the player below and VFL.com.au.
Elsewhere, North’s AFLW ruckman Emma King will line up for Richmond, while Maddison Smith is set to play for Clarence in the Tasmanian State League.
Jess Duffin, Jas Garner, Jenna Bruton have a bye at Williamstown, as do Queenslanders Jamie Stanton and Tahlia Randall.
Georgis Nanscawen will be rested in the WAFL, where she will play for the rest of the season before making the move to Melbourne.
