With North Melbourne travelling to Hobart and Brisbane in the last two weeks, the match committee may look to freshen the side up for the clash with the Western Bulldogs.

Shaun Higgins will be back, and there are some other names putting their hands up for selection through the VFL.

North Media takes a look at those in the mix for Round 21.

Defenders

Ben McKay continues to consistently impress, and appears ready to make the step up to AFL footy when the opportunity arises.

Daniel Neilson has stepped up in the absence of Sam Durdin, and had a fine game on the weekend, highlighted by his 8 marks.

Midfielders

After having minor knee surgery last week, a positive showing at training will see Higgins return to the side.

Luke Davies-Uniacke has brought some more consistency to his game over recent weeks in the VFL, and is pushing for a late season recall.

Declan Mountford was the travelling emergency for the clash with Brisbane, and could well be in the frame for a first AFL appearance of 2018.

Billy Hartung is likely to make his return in the VFL.

Forwards

After a quiet spell of late, Nick Larkey returned to form with a five-goal haul against Williamstown.
