North’s AFLW star recruit, Emma Kearney has been named to play for Melbourne Uni against Williamstown this weekend, coming off a two-week rest.
Kearney will play alongside in-form captain Ash Riddell, who was instrumental in last week’s 33-point defeat of the Bulldogs.
The midfield will again be supported by the reliable and classy duo Sophie Abbatangelo and Kaitlyn Ashmore.
Defender Danielle Hardiman and versatile utilities Emma Humphries and Katherine Gillespie-Jones also return for the last game of the season.
Tasmanian draft prospect, Chloe Haines will be the beneficiary of the agreement between the club and the TSLW, making her way up to play. Haines is the twin sister of Libby Haines, who played in the Round 14 clash against the Casey Demons.
On the other side of the ledger, Jess Duffin, Jas Garner and Jenna Bruton will go toe-to-toe with their future North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' teammates.
Elsewhere, Maddy Smith will play for Glenorchy in the TSLW while Emma King is listed as an emergency for Richmond.
Wilston Grange’s Britt Gibson, Tahlia Randall and Jamie Stanton will contend for the QWAFL premiership against Coorparoo.
