William T Houghton QC

Appointed as a North Melbourne board member in late 2007, Will Houghton QC practices predominantly in commercial, media and administrative law with particular expertise in competition and regulatory law, defamation, suppression orders and contempt law.

He has appeared for clients at both trial level (including numerous jury trials) and appellate level around Australia.

Houghton was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1996.

Julie Laycock

Since 2005, Julie has held the position of Head of Marketing for 7-Eleven Stores Pty Ltd. With more than 600 stores across the Eastern Seaboard, 7-Eleven is Australia’s 3rd largest private company, the number 1 convenience store and the biggest independent fuel retailer. Julie is responsible for all elements of the marketing mix including research, category management, store design and advertising.

Prior to 7-Eleven she spent 15 years in the UK in various senior marketing roles including leading FMCG brands Coca-Cola and Red Bull and the UK’s largest food retailer Tesco Stores Ltd.

Julie was educated in Liverpool, England and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Surrey. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Marketing.

Julie lives in Melbourne with her husband and two daughters.

Geoff Lewis

* Over 20 years experience in the delivery of Information Technology services gained during an international career working with top tier consultants and in large banking, insurance, commercial and government environments
* In 1996 co-founded IT Services company ASG Group. ASG Group has grown into a national organisation with offices in all major cities of Australia. ASG is now listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, has a market capitalisation of approximately $200 million and employs more than 800 people. The business provides IT services to large corporate and government organisations throughout Australia

Brady Scanlon

Brady Scanlon, is an Executive Director of Taverners Group.

Brady has worked with the Taverners Group for over 15 years in a variety of roles both in Australia and overseas. Currently he is responsible for the Health portfolio within the Group and is a member of the Group’s investment committee.

The Taverners Group is a private investment company which invests across a range of asset classes including private equity, logistics, financial services, health, property and treasury related activities.

Brady lives in Melbourne with his wife and four children.
