Membership reminder

I would to thank all those Members who have renewed their memberships this year.

If you haven’t done so I would like to remind you that your support is very important to our association. If you have lost your remittance form please get in touch with me and I’ll send you another one.

The cost of Membership is $25.00 for one year or $100.00 for five years.

NMFC Past Players and Officials Bowls Team

The NMFC PPOA won the Ken McKaige Shield at the Combined AFL/VFL Past Players Bowls Day, held at Altona Bowling Club on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

The winning team comprised John Boyle, Graham Hartman, Geoff Bryant and Ray Collins(Skip).

These bowls days are held twice each year and all past players are welcome to join in, whether they are experienced bowlers or beginners.

Former under 19's, reserves players and officials are eligible to participate along with current/former senior players.

They are most enjoyable days and most current AFL clubs are represented.

It only costs $20 per person, which includes 3 games of 10 ends, an excellent lunch and refreshments.

We would like to enter two or three teams of four if possible.

The next games are scheduled for Sundays, November 18, 2012 and March 17, 2013, at Altona Bowling Club, commencing at 10.00am.

Ray Collins is an accredited Bowls Coach (at the Essendon Bowls Club) and would be happy to show any beginners the basics.
