The Huddle has a range of educational programs and opportunities that enable young people to have brighter futures. By providing additional study support to students and a safe space to learn, The Huddle’s programs contribute to social inclusion by bringing together organisations, schools and volunteers from our community to support the educational needs of young people. Our education programs are created to ensure that all young people are given the chance learn, grow and belong.

We offer a range of programs that can be adapted to the suit a group or individuals’ learning needs.


Schools are offered the opportunity to utilise the facilities, resources and programs offered here at the Huddle and the North Melbourne Football Club.

The Huddle has two fully equipped classrooms located at Arden St in North Melbourne and Chirnside Park in Werribee available for schools to utilise. The classrooms are fitted with computers, access to Wi-Fi and a range of learning resources to create fun and meaningful lessons. 

Utilisation of ovals and indoor courts can be arranged and are subject to availability.

Huddle Bay ticketing

The Huddle Bay Ticketing program provides more than 3,000 complimentary tickets annually to various community groups and schools across Victoria.

The seats are situated on Level 1 at Etihad Stadium, the Huddle Bays allow students and their families to experience the fun and excitement that is an NMFC home game.


GOAL! is an online kit bag of teaching resources designed to assist teachers in guiding students through engaging and integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) inquiry units.  Units and resources are aligned to the Australian Curriculum and The Department of Education Tasmania’s My Education career education framework.

GOAL! is designed by teachers, for teachers and is a bold and internationally significant approach to designing integrated STEAM teaching units that support teachers in guiding students through the 5 E’s inquiry process.  

GOAL! provides a set of comprehensive inquiry based teaching units that allow teachers the flexibility to tailor units and resources to suit their teaching style, students and learning context.  There are no prescriptive lesson plans.

Critically, GOAL! utilises the real-world career stories of sporting industry professionals from organisations such as North Melbourne Football Club to enhance student engagement, increase relevance, and to provide industry, occupation, training, qualification and labour market information.

In drawing on the wisdom of sporting industry professionals GOAL uncovers the skills and strategies required to navigate and build successful careers - identifying the opportunities and challenges they have experienced, and highlighting the importance of students developing these same skills in order to build their own unique career story.

Study Support - North Melbourne

Need a quiet place to study? Help with an essay? Access to the Internet? Assistance from a tutor? The Huddle at North Melbourne run an award-winning Study Support Program for people aged 12-25 years old. It all happens Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 7pm during school terms. The program provides free one-on-one and group tutoring by highly qualified volunteers, a quiet and safe study space, access to computers and free internet use. Study Support is a welcoming learning environment that can cater to the diverse learning needs of young people.
