North Melbourne’s 2013 unfortunately came to an end after its Round 23 victory over Collingwood.

How Hine finished the season
Hine’s first year at Aegis Park can be regarded as a success after playing 14 games in a variety of defensive roles.
Only conceding 13.55 disposals per 100 minutes to his direct opponent, his performance was statistically better than the likes of Ryan Crowley (17.44), Kane Cornes (18.57) and Liam Picken (15.97).
A troublesome ankle injury ended Hine’s season prematurely, but playing every game between Round 10 to 20 shows he is very much in the plans for 2014 and beyond.
