Taylor Garner is likely to miss two to three weeks of football, North Director of Football Geoff Walsh says.

The young gun strained his hamstring in Sunday’s win over Melbourne in Hobart and sat out the final quarter.

“It’s a pretty standard minor hamstring injury and the good news for Taylor is that he’ll likely only be sidelined for a couple of weeks,” Walsh told NMFC.com.au.

“Scans backed up our medical team’s initial assessment that it was only a low level strain.

“While he had a lengthy lay off in 2014 with hamstring related issues, we are confident this latest injury is only a minor one.”
