North’s emerging youngsters have been recognised for their strong debut seasons with VFL affiliate Werribee.
Declan Mountford finished second in the Tigers’ best and fairest count, the Bruce Montgomery Trophy, with fellow 2015 draftee Ryan Clarke third.
Matt Hanson won his second consecutive award after an outstanding season.
Mountford, the 60th pick in the 2015 National Draft, averaged 16 disposals and 6 tackles a game, while also playing several key tagging roles late in the year.
Clarke averaged 25 possessions in 12 VFL games, and also played six games for North Melbourne in an exciting first season.
