The Match Review Panel has handed Lachlan Hansen and Luke McDonald fines for separate incidents during North’s win over Gold Coast.

McDonald has been offered a $1000 fine for striking Suns' midfielder Michael Barlow, while Hansen can accept a $1500 fine for engaging in rough conduct against Touk Miller.

Jack Ziebell was cleared for high contact on Brandon Matera during the second quarter, with the MRP deeming the force used was "below that required to constitute a report".

Luke McDonald, North Melbourne, has been charged with striking Michael Barlow, Gold Coast Suns, during the second quarter of the Round Six match between North Melbourne and the Gold Coast Suns, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday April 29, 2017.

Other incidents assessed: 
Contact between North Melbourne’s Jack Ziebell and the Gold Coast Suns’ Brandon Matera from the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The ball was loose with Ziebell and Matera coming to the contest. Ziebell is making position for the ball and makes high contact and a free kick was paid at the time. It was the view of the panel the force used was below that required to constitute a report. No further action was taken.
