Young North Melbourne fans will have extra opportunities to mix with their favourite stars, when the playing group embarks on a two-day community camp across Tasmania in February.

The Roos' players will be spread across Hobart, Launceston and Devonport, visiting a total of 43 schools.

Tasmanian-born Ben Brown said he is counting down the days to head back to his home state.

“I’m looking forward to it, it’s an opportunity for us to give back to the community and I think that is really important,” Brown said.

“I am a proud Tasmanian and I really appreciate the club being involved with the Tasmanian community.”

The Tassie Mariners will be privy to a few extra tips when a group of North players attend training, with the itinerary also including visits to the Launceston General Hospital and Ronald McDonald House, as well as super clinics and NGA Masterclasses across the state.
