It was a match Todd Goldstein will never forget; a brilliant win in enemy territory the perfect way to celebrate the magical 200-game milestone.

“It’s an unbelievable feeling. The boys really lifted and to get a win interstate in Perth it’s a real confidence-booster for the squad,” Goldstein told North Media.

The big man kicked a vital goal late in the game which ultimately sealed the win over the Dockers, as North saluted by 28 points.

“I tried to make it look as hard as possible,” Goldstein joked.

“If I had a right foot it would have been a pretty simple goal, but without a right foot I was just happy it went through.”

“It’s just one of those special moments in footy when your teammates really get around you. It’s something (the milestone) I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.”

Goldstein was one of the Roos’ best performers on the day, beating Aaron Sandilands in the hit-outs (42-35) and disposals (8-7) on the day.

He wasn’t alone, with North on top from the outset.

“We played some really good footy for the whole day. We just didn’t capitalise on our dominance,” Goldstein said.

“Each time you win a game, each time you play your style and it works out, you gain a little bit more confidence.

“The boys are pretty confident in the way we are playing that we can stack up against anyone. To do it here is just another reminder that we are a good side.

“What everyone said in the media at the start of the year doesn’t really matter, what this group can achieve is anything.”

Goldstein was chaired from the ground by two long-time teammates, Scott Thompson and Robbie Tarrant, following a brilliant victory.

“I don’t think anyone would have really thought I would have got to this point, but that comes down to the faith the footy club has shown in me,” he said on Fox Footy.

“The work people like Jona Segal (High-Performance Manager) put into me early on made a massive difference in my career, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this group and a part of this club.”
