ET: Swans trio likely

Sydney looks set to welcome back a trio of stars ahead of its clash with North Melbourne on Sunday.

Isaac Heeney (concussion) and Tom Papley (hip flexor) will train with the main group on Wednesday, as both go through their final checks before being considered fit for selection.

“Isaac has now recovered from his concussion and has no symptoms at all,” Sydney’s Head Physiotherapist Matt Cameron told the club’s website.

“He still needs to train in the back half of this week and if nothing is provoked then he will be right to go.

“Tom had a hip flexor muscle strain from around the bye and he is back running now.

“He is training with the boys tomorrow and if he gets through those sessions we will make a decision on him playing.”

Speedster Gary Rohan also looks likely to be included in Sydney’s side, following the club’s decision to take a cautious approach with the forward after he experienced hamstring tightness in the lead-up to Round 16.

Veteran midfielder Kieren Jack is in with a chance to play after scans earlier this week revealed a grade one strain to his medial ligament.

Dan Hannebery (calf) and Jarrad McVeigh (collarbone) have both been ruled-out, while Sam Reid (achilles) and Lewis Melican (hamstring) have had their seasons cut short following surgery to repair their respective injuries.
