Training Report: November 19

With the sun beating down, the full North Melbourne list took to Arden St Oval on Monday morning for the first time in the 2019 pre-season.

After beginning their pre-season two weeks ago, the first to fourth year players were joined out on the track by North’s established stars for the first full session since August.

The likes of Shaun Higgins and Ben Cunnington returned to the fold, looking fit and ready ahead of what promises to be a big pre-season.

North’s new recruits, Jared Polec, Jasper Pittard, Dom Tyson and Aaron Hall all took part in the session as they got to know their new teammates.

Luke McDonald reported for duty with a ‘Castaway’-like beard, leaving him almost unrecognisable. The defender looked in impressive condition, hitting plenty of targets with his trusty left boot.

After being arguably North’s best performer in the final weeks of the 2018 season, Trent Dumont was once again one of the hardest workers on the track, as he looks to continue his momentum in 2019.

After suffering injury disrupted seasons in 2018, Taylor Garner and Ed Vickers-Willis were both able to participate in light skills work.
